  March 31,2021 (Wednesday) the last day of the fest and we all reached college earlier to practise as it was the day of group events. At 9.00 am principal sir called everyone for the official college photograph on the basketball ground and after that, we were dispersed. The events started and chess numbers were called on the stage to present all the members put their hundred per cent effort into it. Events had followed one by one and we were not given any time to relax. I was in the mime team and with confidence, we entered the stage and put forth our full effort and we got 2nd prize.   All the events came to an end And we were waiting for the result of the overall champion trophy. At last when the winners were announced we all were in a nightmare as our team "Panchachamaram" got the overall champion. It was a joyful moment that hard work really pays off, with that our classes officially end and our vacation days began. Thank god for this victorious day...........

  March 30,2021 (Tuesday) Second day of the fest and the celebration started with a lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guests. And thus began the event "Avanija" the name of our Arts fest. Today schedule was all individual stage events like Light music, Fancy dress, Kuchipudi, Bharathanatiyam, Folk dance etc....  As a Captian, I supported all my team members with love but on some occasions, I was too hard on them also. I am sorry for showing my anger. Events followed one by one and all the participants did their job sincerely and I was so much happy towards them. My friend Priyanka didn't get time to even change the costumes somehow our teammates managed to get her ready for the following events.       Thank God for this hectic day.................

  March 29,2021 (Monday) the day started with a busy schedule, a hectic day as the Captian of First group- Panchachamaram I have to look after whether all are present in their programs and how they are doing it. Ekayana our 64th Union Literary and Arts Fest begun today.  The first event was the Poetry writing competition, and one by one the events continuously followed and there was no gap of time between the events for practising for the Arts events. Story writing, Essay writing, Drawing Competition, and the day ended with the Craft Making Competition. My lifetime first attempts at Craft making. Time had flown like a rocket and we don't have any idea where to start and how to start for the Arts day Programs. Moving from room to room made me tired but with confidence, I came back with positive energy to grab the overall trophy. Thank god for this creative day...................

  March 26,2021 (Friday) the day started with  Maya mam's class and mam started the hour with a story of Nellika, its health benefits and its importance in the body. Then mam asked to drink a lot of water due to the hot climate.  After that, the remaining seminars were conducted. And the English optional were done with the seminars. later mam showed as a video that arises a patriotic feeling among all of us. A spontaneous "Bharathmatha ki Jai" came from someone at the back. Mam taught as about National Integrity. The next hour was continued by Principal sir and sir taught as about the Skill of Explaining, the Skill of Illustration. Next moved to the Skill of Experimentation or Demonstration then at the last the Skill of Chalkboard Writing. The afternoon session was dealt with the optional class of Meekha mam and the remaining seminars were presented.            March 25,2021(Thursday) The day started with Maya mam's class and it was our English optional seminar presentation. The remaining seminar presenters presented one by one. Mam was talking about women being given the status of goddesses and a question was raised by Uthara and expressed her opinion about women seen with the god. Then Subash from social science had encountered it and expressed his views and ideas that it only meant giving women power and respect. Then the Sparkling debate started many expressed their ideas and feeling. Society is not analysing where the problem occurs they blame things around. As a woman, we should respond to the situations that are happening to us not wait for others to respond in the bad situation.  After the hot debate, the next period was the optional class and the class dealt with the seminars.                 March 24,2021( Wednesday) Our union NISARGA's Inauguration started with an official formal speech, lighting the lamp by the chief guest etc. The stage decoration should be appreciated the arrangements were so clean and perfect. The inauguration of the College band was a highlight. I saw my BA and MA class teacher Divya mam she was a former student of this college 2010 batch. Mam came to handover the trophy to the college for the best outgoing student in the English department on behalf of our department's pride Laji sir's remembrance.  The campus was filled with colourful emotions. I and Sree Priya went to help the pooja dance group doing makeup later Devika, Ganga, Caran, Sree Lakshmi and many others joined for helping them we did our best for helping them.                      March 23,2021(Tuesday) the day started very well with a cake cutting for our new bride Aparana. We started our practice for the Dubsmash. Later we are welcomed for the Freshers day program in the Auditorium. Our seniors gave a warm welcome to the 65th Batch students in the college. The chief guest was RJ Unni from Red FM (Hello my dear wrong number). I used to hear the program but not familiar with the faces of the RJ's.  The program started by giving glucose to all of us. And a welcome speech was given by our chairman and Joju sir. Later our chief guest Unni chettan shared his experiences that how the teachers helped him to be a successful person. His travel from the college to his RJ life. He mentioned that as we all are going to be future teachers, a major role lies in our hands to pull up everyone to be on a successful path.            March 22, 2021(Monday) The day started with a prayer in our college chapel, with a positive vibe I entered the General class and the first two hours were taken by Maya mam and mam gave a brief description of today's importance - 22 March is World Water Day. Then mam taught different terms related to Culture. They are- Cultural Lag, Cultural Diffusion, Enculturation, Acculturation, Cultural Inertia, Sanskritisation and Role of Education with regard to culture. After that mam conducted the seminar on English Optionals. The next hour was engaged by Benedict Sir and sir first gave a gist of the previous class and brushed up our memory. Then sir gave a difference between Probing and Redirection. Probing means the ability of a teacher to provide some clues to the students so that the thought process of the student will e focused.                 March 19,2021(Friday) We were informed earlier to be in college at 9.00 am because 9 students were there to take their classes. And I reached on time when I entered, the classes began and it was very interesting they made as to do activities and we enjoyed the classes. The 3-day commission came to an end at 1.00 pm and the Principal sir announced that more than 40 students from the college had passed the KTET exam and also for the cooperation of the 1-year students for the commission a glass of payasam is arranged for all.  After the lunch break and the delicious payasam, we were ready for the General class as we were having the seminar of Maya mam. Totally tired but we were confident did the seminar. Later the union members came for their announcement and when I peeped through the window it was raining outside. The image of raining and the chillness prompted me to drink a coffee and with a cup of coffee thus ended the week.                                             

           March 18,2021(Thursday) the day started with a prayer in the chapel, and when I entered the classroom seniors were preparing for the presentations. At 10.00 am the presentations started and each one of them had done their part very well with confidence. And their skills were very effective. After the lunch break, Joju sir asked the natural science department students to present their seminar. And before starting the seminar, sir introduced technology related videos and asked as to observe how the technology is used in the media. In the video, we observed the usage of audio, visual and text. Then sir showed a Helping child video and a lead India patriotic feeling arousing video. Then we discussed the seminar topic merits and demerits of social media.                                                       Thank God for this fun day................

                      March 17,2021(Wednesday) the morning started with a prayer in Chapel and when I reached the classroom seniors were so tensed and busy working with their commission presentation. The class of seniors started sharply at 10 and all the students were given 20 minutes for their presentation. Due to the pandemic situation, they lacked the school experience and we were acting as students. It was a great experience as we're going back to our school days that we really missed. All the six students who took a class today made their presentation lively and effectively with activities, video class etc. After the lunch break, we had our general class and the class was engaged by Maya mam and mam didn't teach any subject related things, rather she came up with a PowerPoint presentation of "Self-confidence and Self-esteem" because from our face itself it was clear that we all were so tired and not in a mood to study.
