Teachers Day - September 06

 


September 06,2021 (Monday) Yesterday was the Teacher's day, but it was Sunday so we wished our teachers today.



Thanking each and every teacher who lead the path for our journey.  Our College union organised a Teacher's day video and released it on youtube as a gesture of acknowledgement. Wishing all a Happy Teacher's Day.


The first hour was taken by Joju Sir. It was supposed to be a seminar day but since so many doubts came up regarding how to take, sir gave one more week time to prepare. The day's session started off with sir thanking for the Special video release by the union. Sir gave a thought on how Teachers should be and then moved on to clearing doubts regarding the seminar. After that sir taught about the current Evaluation process. Sir suggested sharing our opinion about what modification should be made.



The next hour Maya mam came and continued to teach about Buddhism. Methods of teaching were dealt with. The last hour was optional, and mam gave us work to complete ( lesson plans )We were asked to watch few videos that mam recommended on video editing and camera angles.


Thank god for this wonderful day.............

                     January 11, 2022 ( Tuesday )I reached the school at 9 20 and signed the attendance sheet. My friend was on leave today so I took her period also. She had the first hour and I took her period as substitution, it was 9th A-class and the chapter I dealt with them was "The last leaf".                                     I enjoyed each and every experience in the school and it was really interesting. Sleepless Nights of Commission - 28 Sept

                           The day arrived that the Commission had a huge hurdle that had to be crossed. I had my General and Physical viva on 27th it went smoothly without any problem and I also had my class external evaluation today I was a little bit tensed but managed to overcome it. I have optional viva left thank god it has to go smoothly.

World Water Day - March 22

           March 22, 2021(Monday) The day started with a prayer in our college chapel, with a positive vibe I entered the General class and the first two hours were taken by Maya mam and mam gave a brief description of today's importance - 22 March is World Water Day. Then mam taught different terms related to Culture. They are- Cultural Lag, Cultural Diffusion, Enculturation, Acculturation, Cultural Inertia, Sanskritisation and Role of Education with regard to culture. After that mam conducted the seminar on English Optionals. The next hour was engaged by Benedict Sir and sir first gave a gist of the previous class and brushed up our memory. Then sir gave a difference between Probing and Redirection. Probing means the ability of a teacher to provide some clues to the students so that the thought process of the student will e focused.
