Musical day - March 16

 

        March 16,2021(Tuesday) started with Ancy mam's class and mam introduced a new thinker she is Maria Montessori. After an hour mam asked someone to sing a song for relaxation and Devika sang a beautiful song which was so pleasant for the ears.



After a short tea break, Maya mam engaged the class and gave an idea about all works we have to do in the first semester and after that mam continued with the topic of culture. Later Joju sir came and gave a few points on blackboard writing skills.



All the seniors were running here and there for their commission and we were shifted to the seminar hall. The afternoon session was taken by Joju sir and he taught about audiovisual aids. The new word "Edutainment" was mentioned which means education + entertainment. The class ended with the topic of Multi-sensory learning, which is larger the sensory involved more concrete learning.

Lekshmi mam came in the last two hours of arts and aesthetics and taught as about the basics of music ragas. The class was so musical that mam made everyone sing the ragas and told as that it is the vocal cord exercise and every teacher's weapon for controlling a student is his/her voice. And we tried our maximum to sing. Our team swaram got 5 points for discipline and the first group to assemble fast.

                     January 11, 2022 ( Tuesday )I reached the school at 9 20 and signed the attendance sheet. My friend was on leave today so I took her period also. She had the first hour and I took her period as substitution, it was 9th A-class and the chapter I dealt with them was "The last leaf".                                     I enjoyed each and every experience in the school and it was really interesting. Sleepless Nights of Commission - 28 Sept

                           The day arrived that the Commission had a huge hurdle that had to be crossed. I had my General and Physical viva on 27th it went smoothly without any problem and I also had my class external evaluation today I was a little bit tensed but managed to overcome it. I have optional viva left thank god it has to go smoothly.

World Water Day - March 22

           March 22, 2021(Monday) The day started with a prayer in our college chapel, with a positive vibe I entered the General class and the first two hours were taken by Maya mam and mam gave a brief description of today's importance - 22 March is World Water Day. Then mam taught different terms related to Culture. They are- Cultural Lag, Cultural Diffusion, Enculturation, Acculturation, Cultural Inertia, Sanskritisation and Role of Education with regard to culture. After that mam conducted the seminar on English Optionals. The next hour was engaged by Benedict Sir and sir first gave a gist of the previous class and brushed up our memory. Then sir gave a difference between Probing and Redirection. Probing means the ability of a teacher to provide some clues to the students so that the thought process of the student will e focused.
