PCK Scale - April 12

 

April 12,2021 (Monday) the class started with our optional class and Meekha mam asked to present the remaining Reading and Reflection. Ganga, Devika, Caran presented their books and it was a good presentation.



The next session was engaged by the Principal sir and sir started with a quick recollection of what he taught as in the previous class. Today's topic was classroom management. Sir taught us that a teacher should be a facilitator rather than a provider. Then the next point was the PCK scale - pedagogical content knowledge scale. Then sir moved on to the next sub-skill that is the skill of closure. The entire session was about "Skill-based instructional design: An Introduction" it was very much informative and useful.



                                    Thank god for this beautiful day.......................

                     January 11, 2022 ( Tuesday )I reached the school at 9 20 and signed the attendance sheet. My friend was on leave today so I took her period also. She had the first hour and I took her period as substitution, it was 9th A-class and the chapter I dealt with them was "The last leaf".                                     I enjoyed each and every experience in the school and it was really interesting. Sleepless Nights of Commission - 28 Sept

                           The day arrived that the Commission had a huge hurdle that had to be crossed. I had my General and Physical viva on 27th it went smoothly without any problem and I also had my class external evaluation today I was a little bit tensed but managed to overcome it. I have optional viva left thank god it has to go smoothly.

World Water Day - March 22

           March 22, 2021(Monday) The day started with a prayer in our college chapel, with a positive vibe I entered the General class and the first two hours were taken by Maya mam and mam gave a brief description of today's importance - 22 March is World Water Day. Then mam taught different terms related to Culture. They are- Cultural Lag, Cultural Diffusion, Enculturation, Acculturation, Cultural Inertia, Sanskritisation and Role of Education with regard to culture. After that mam conducted the seminar on English Optionals. The next hour was engaged by Benedict Sir and sir first gave a gist of the previous class and brushed up our memory. Then sir gave a difference between Probing and Redirection. Probing means the ability of a teacher to provide some clues to the students so that the thought process of the student will e focused.
